Sometimes the best toys are sitting with a "free" sign on the side of the road! I learned that if you want it bad enough...you can lift it into the back of the truck!
As a stay at home parent it can often be difficult to maintain ones own health and wellness. We tend to neglect ourselves in the hopes of finding the opportunity to throw in a quick load of laundry or to go to the washroom without feeling like we are in “Grand Central Station”. We clean while they eat and we shower, quickly, while they are entranced by the most recent “Wiggles” episode.
As my boys are getting older, they seem to have a lot more independent time. With this new development I have realized that today I may be able to capture a little independent time of my own. Life after all is all about finding a balance.
Today marks the beginning of my journey. The journey of reclaiming a little more me time and the journey of bringing health and wellness back into my life. As a thirty one year old mother of two I am left to wonder…what exactly does health and wellness mean to me now and how to do I go about bringing it back into my life?
